Clearly, computer-free vehicles are great because you have complete control over them. On the other hand, if you want to add some power to your car but don’t want to spend large sums on it and probably some frustrating weeks in the process, computer-controlled vehicles are your best bet. Most vehicles sold in the last 30 years have a computer controlling the performance of the engine. Your car is most probably one of them. The great news about this is that tuning your vehicle is so easy because of it.

These power programmers will replace your programming with new performance programs created by professionals. Get the chip into the OBD-II port, usually beneath your steering column and follow the instruccions (usually some yes or no commands), which will guide you trought the process. Now you are ready to experience 20 or even more horse power. For the most part, it will take some 15 minutes to get it ready.

What’s more, as with all performance mods, you’ll be protected by federal law. It basically states that your vehicle’s warranty cannot be voided by performance parts unless they can be proven as the source of the breakdown.
